Laois Community and Voluntary Awards
We would like to commend all nominees and congratulate the runners up and winners in each category of the Laois Community & Voluntary Awards 2024.
The Awards are organised on an annual basis by Laois County Council and Laois PPN, and sponsored by People First Credit Union to recognise and celebrate the amazing Community Groups of Laois.
We also had the privilege of announcing our three finalists for our €10,000 Community Champions Award which are:
- Athy Sing & Sign @athysingsign – An Irish Sign Language Group teaching ISL to people from 6-72 years for their song project
- Ballinakill Community Development Assoication – For their virtual tour of the villages historical features to promote active lifestyles and engagement with community history
- Abbeyleix Community Garden @communitygardenabbeyleix - For their rainwater harvesting project
