Shanahoe National School Celebrates Outstanding Success at People First Credit Union School Quiz.

People First Credit Union is thrilled to announce the exceptional performance of local primary schools in the recently concluded annual Credit Union School Quiz. The competition, held at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel on February 10th February, showcased the remarkable talents and intellect of young students from our community.

People First Credit Union School Quiz comprises two categories: Competition A for entrants aged 10 or younger on December 31st, 2024, and Competition B for entrants aged 12 or younger on the same date.

We are delighted to announce the winners of Competition A as Gaelscoil Phortlaoise and the victors of Competition B and our trophy winners for 2024 as Shanahoe National School. These talented teams have displayed exceptional knowledge, teamwork, and dedication throughout the competition, securing their places in the next stage. Score sheets can be found below.

As we progress to "Stage 2" at the Chapter level, scheduled for March 7th to 9th, 2025, Gaelscoil Phortlaoise and Shanahoe National School will represent People First Credit Union with the hope of advancing to the National Final. The Chapter level will witness the winners and runners-up of both competitions competing for the opportunity to showcase their intellect at the National level, scheduled for Sunday 6th April 2025.
