What happens when you contact us?

01 Talk to us Contact us and let us know that you're having difficulty with your repayments.
02 Understand your circumstances We'll talk to you about your financial circumstances and may ask you for further information.
03 Review your options We'll review your circumstances and consider the options that may be available to you.
04 Agree a way forward We'll work with you to agree an appropriate way forward based on your circumstances.

What happens if you don't engage with us?

We want to help you through any difficult period, but we can't do this if you don't engage with us.

If you don't meet the repayments on your loan, your account will fall into arrears. This may affect your credit report, which may limit your ability to access credit, a hire-purchase agreement, a consumer-hire agreement or a BNPL-agreement in the future.

Our Credit Control Team will reach out to you to discuss your situation and help to put a plan in place to reduce any negative impact to your credit report. If you fail to engage with our team, we may refer your account to our solicitors for legal action and recovery in the courts.

We understand that reaching out about financial difficulties can be difficult or uncomfortable. Our team has extensive experience supporting members who are experiencing financial difficulties, and we approach every situation with understanding, respect and without judgement. If you fully engage with us and keep us informed about your circumstances, we'll work with you to find a way forward.
