Cultivate: Supporting farmers in the aftermath of Storm Éowyn
Storm Éowyn has left a trail of destruction across farms in Ireland, with many farmers faced with serious damage to sheds, fencing and essential infrastructure. With the storm now behind us, the focus shifts to repairing the damage and getting farms back on track.
Speaking on behalf of People First Credit Union, Belinda Gyves said: “Credit unions pride ourselves on standing by our members at all times and especially when they are facing difficulties. We are here to help.”
Belinda explained that the Cultivate loan provides unsecured finance up to €75,000.
“Farming is tough enough without setbacks like Storm Éowyn. And these challenges are becoming more frequent. Credit unions are on the ground and understand these realities. If your farm has been hit by Storm Éowyn and you need financial assistance, please contact us today. Or if you already have a Cultivate loan and you want to discuss your repayments because of damage caused by Storm Éowyn, please contact us without delay and we will take care of you.”
"We’re here to support farmers"
Summing up, Belinda said:
“Whether you need to repair storm-damaged sheds, replace fencing, buy a generator or invest in farm equipment, Cultivate provides fair, affordable finance with a straightforward application process – we’re here to support farmers”
