A Celebration of Creativity and Community

People First Credit Union is proud to support the Made of Athy (MOA) project – a truly inspiring local initiative that showcases the incredible creativity and talent of young musicians from Athy and the surrounding area.

The project brings together a group of outstanding young performers aged 14–18 who have collaborated to create a debut album that celebrates Athy’s spirit, heritage, and musical identity. Mentored by world-renowned artists with links to Athy – including Johnny Marr (The Smiths), Mani (The Stone Roses), John Maher (Buzzcocks), Neil Hannon (The Divine Comedy), and Jack L – the MOA musicians have produced something extraordinary: an album that unites local pride with global inspiration.

Join the Celebration

The Made of Athy Album Launch will take place on Sunday, 16th November at the Clanard Court Hotel, Athy. Doors open at 6:30pm, and everyone is invited to attend.

Guests can look forward to live performances, a first listen to the debut album on vinyl and digital formats, and a night filled with local pride, music, and community spirit.
